Monique Shaw

Monique is new to real estate but was born for it!

Having lived in Dorrigo since 1999 she has raised her three daughters on the plateau, along with her husband, they have been self employed for over two decades running Misty's Restaurant and now Dorrigo Wholefoods. She is passionate about the Dorrigo Plateau and loves living on the Mid North Coast.

Monique clearly demonstrates the skill to achieve a good relationship with the vendor and matching buyers with "the perfect" property is incredibly exciting.

Joining the Coffs Harbour LJ Hooker team has been a brilliant move. Being this passionate about an area makes it very easy to "Sell the Dream".

Owning a unique rainforest property was a joy – but we always knew that it would be very difficult to sell. Paradise in your own eyes is not always paradise to someone else. We had previously listed our property and we were unable to find a prospective purchaser. Monique Shaw had just joined with LJ Hooker at Urunga so we invited her to do an appraisal of our home & 100 acres. With Monique being new to the real estate profession was to our advantage. She viewed our property through the eyes of a local that loves the Dorrigo area. Monique understood that we only wanted serious prospective purchasers to view our home. Within a couple of weeks she had found the right person for our sale. Although securing the sale of our home took a few months with the new owner – Monique always kept us informed of progress. The situation was time consuming and frustrating at times but Monique’s wonderful communication skills and patience made this difficult and stressful time a lot easier. We would like to congratulate Monique on achieving what many other real estate agents had been unable to do. Thank you so much Monique – we know that you will have a wonderful future in the Real Estate industry.

After some years of others failing to sell my property on Mountain Top at Dorrigo, I was approached by Monique Shaw with an offer to succeed in this venture. She had just joined LJ Hooker, Urunga as a Salesperson. This, I understand was a career change for her. Moniques enthusiasm was refreshing to say the least. Mine was her first property to list for sale. It soon became one of several. During our relationship, Monique organised several open inspections; something which previous agencies had not done. She always kept in contact with me which confirmed I was not just a number to her. Monique's communication skills were warm and genuine and inspired confidence in her ability and determination to sell my home. We certainly set goals which also encouraged me to believe that a sale was possible and, yes, imminent. Mine was to be her first sale and so it was. Moniques approach to her work and to me was genuine and as I have already said, refreshing. I hear that whilst mine was her first sale, it is now no longer her last. Congratulations Monique and thank you.

Monique was the agent I used to recently sell my property. She was a pleasure to deal with. My husband had just died, she was so considerate and helpful. I have dealt with estate agents previously and I found Monique the most honest helpful and with such a pleasant personality I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone. I have asked her to help me find my new house.
